Autopsy Completed On Elderly Woman Killed By Gunshot In Derry
Seventy-four-year-old Ellen Munstis of Derry was killed by multiple gun shot wounds, according to a recently completed autopsy.
CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire Medical Examiner's Office has completed an autopsy on the body of a 74-year-old woman who was killed in her home in Derry on Saturday. The autopsy determined that Ellen Munstis was killed by several gunshot wounds in a manner of homicide. Roderick Munstis, who is charged with killing her, is being held without bail after Monday's arraignment.
Roderick Munstis is charged with alternative counts of knowing and reckless second-degree in connection with Ellen Munstis's death. According to the Attorney General's Office, Roderick Munstis will be held with no bail until his trial.
Anyone who was in the area of 151 Bypass 28 on Friday, who may have heard or seen a part of the homicide, is asked to call the Derry Police Department Detective Unit at 603-432-6111.
