Curtin to Sign Copies of 'Today is the Day' on Tuesday
Londonderry writer's even comes on the same date as the 240th anniversary of the U.S. Marines.

On November 10, 1775, the Continental Congress approved the resolution to establish two battalions of Marines able to fight for independence at sea and on shore. This date marks the official formation of the Continental Marines,” 1st Commandant: Major Samuel Nicholas (1775-1783)
At this anniversary date, Londonderry author Deborah Curtin will be signing copies of her first novel, “Today is the Day,” from 4 to 6 p.m. on Nov. 10, 2015, at the Cafe La Reine on Elm Street in Manchester.
The is about a Marine who loses a friend in a car accident and learns to cope with his inner demons. The book won an Honorable Mention in the 2014 New England Book Festival.
