Girls on the Run Fall 2020 Program Registration Now Open

Virtual and in-person teams will be offered!

Girls on the Run of New Hampshire program registration is now open for the Fall 2020 season. Girls on the Run is a physical activity-based, positive youth development program that teaches key life skills to girls in 3rd through 8th grade through dynamic discussions and fun games that creatively integrate running.

In today's unpredictable world, the social-emotional skills and strategies learned at Girls on the Run are more important than ever. At Girls on the Run, girls will build self-confidence and develop healthy relationships in addition to learning skills such as managing emotions, resolving conflict, helping others and more. Every girl deserves a place to grow, connect and shine. YOUR girl can join one of our life-changing programs in New Hampshire this fall.

Two options will be offered for programming, starting the week of September 14:

* 100% Virtual teams - up to 12 girls and 2 coaches will meet twice weekly for 45 minutes to engage in FUN activities, movement and discussion. In between each lesson day, girls will set personal movement goals to complete. Virtual teams will mirror the same research-based GOTR curriculum.

* Hybrid (in-person teams) - up to 12 girls and 2 coaches will meet twice weekly and complete the entire lesson (discussion and movement) in-person. These teams will have the flexibility to move to a virtual space if it becomes necessary due to health and safety concerns.

At the completion of the season, all girls and families will be invited to join in a statewide virtual 5K event on November 14th.

The true success of the program is told in the words of the girls who participate: "Girls on the Run made me realize that I am the boss of my brain." "I know that whatever I set my mind to do, I can do." "At Girls on the Run I learned how to be comfortable in my own skin!"
