Heavy Manchester Police Presence Near Elliot Hospital
Update: Multiple police cruisers and officers have areas blocked off around Cypress Street for what appears to be a "bomb complaint."
MANCHESTER, NH — Manchester police are on the scene of a "bomb complaint" on Cypress Street between Auburn and Massabesic streets, according to the MPD call log.
The area, which is adjacent to the Elliot Hospital, has streets in the area blocked off with heavy police presence.
Sources say that the New Hampshire State Police bomb technicians are responding to the area.

At this point, it appears several people are standing outside of the Cypress Center that is the closest building to where police appear to be working.

A suspicious device was located in the area of the Cypress Center. As a precaution area buildings have been evacuated and the NHSP bomb squad will be responding to take a look at the device. One person is in custody. pic.twitter.com/VKyFgHFJNq

A stay-in-place order has been sent out to residents in the area.
