Police are not releasing the identity of the person pending positive identification as well as manner and cause of death.

In December Manchester police responded to a deceased woman found on the same trail, but closer to Lake Massabesic. The cause and manner of death of the December death remain under investigation for that death and is an ongoing investigation by MPD and the NH Attorney General's Office.

The trail is a popular location for bikers and walkers. Several bicyclists and walkers were stopped from traveling on the trail and redirected to sections located further east.

This is ongoing and there is no further information at this time.
