Local, Junior Jiu Jitsu Team, Competed at Grappling Industries.

Team Woo's Junior Jiu Jitsu Team Competed at the Grappling Industries Boston Tournam at the Grappling Industries Boston Tournament on Jan 21

Local, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu students Christopher Merheb, Marcus Schmitt, Cameron Grassis and Daniel Harrington competed at the Grappling Industries Boston Tournament, on Jan 21 at the Tyngsboro Sport Center. The 4 learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, from Coach Perry Gagnon, at Woo Kickboxing Academy of Londonderry. Coach Perry Gagnon is one of Professor Joe Kvetkosky's Brazilian Top Team purple belts.

  • Christopher Merheb took 3rd in place the Gi Kids / Green/Blue / 14 - 15 years (Male) / -155 LBS division and 3rd in the place No Gi Kids / Expert (Green/Blue ) / 14 - 15 Years (Male) / -155 LBS division.
  • Marcus Schmitt took 3rd place in GI Kids / Grey / 8 - 9 Years / -75 LBS division.
  • Cameron Grassis took 3rd place in Gi Kids / Grey / 8 - 9 Years / -95 LBS and takes 3rd place in the No Gi Kids / Intermediate (GREY) / 8 - 9 YEARS / -105 LBS division.
  • Daniel Harrington came in 5th in the Gi Kids / Grey / 12 - 13 YEARS / -125 LBS division.

Woo Kickboxing Academy of Londonderry is an official Brazilian Top Team affiliate. Woo Kickboxing of Londonderry specialize in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing and Teen's MMA. Woo Kickboxing of Londonderry's Brazilian Jiu Jitsu fighters, are locally known as "Team Woo" and are led by Brazilian Top Team, Black Belt, Professor Joe Kvetkosky.
