Londonderry Police Charge 2 In Suspicious Child Death Case
Mark Geremia of Northfield and Shawna Cote of Tilton were arrested on homicide charges after a girl overdosed on fentanyl in November 2020.

LONDONDERRY, NH — Londonderry police have arrested two people after a multi-month investigation into why a young girl overdosed on fentanyl at a local truck stop on Nov. 16, 2020.
Just before 9:45 a.m. on that Monday, police and fire and rescue teams were sent to the RMZ Truck Stop on Rockingham Road for a report of an unconscious and unresponsive toddler inside a vehicle in the rear of the parking lot.
According to Capt. Patrick Cheetham, a dayshift patrol sergeant arrived within a minute of the call and performed CPR until Londonderry EMTs arrived. The girl, 1 year and 9 months old, was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
