Londonderry Students Place Third in Video Contest
Students submitted the entry in New Hampshire's second annual What's So Cool About Manufacturing? contest.

CONCORD, NH - The year’s What’s So Cool About Manufacturing? video contest winners have been announced and students in Londonderry earned third place.
Londonderry Middle School students collaborated with Stonyfield Organics for their entry. First place was awarded to students at the North Hampton School, who worked with Foss Manufacturing, to give their take on advanced manufacturing. Second place went to students at the Kingswood Regional Middle School in Wolfeboro, who worked with Calico Graphics in Wolfeboro on their video.
“This year, students from 10 schools around the state produced 11 videos and the results – once again – are impressive, as students answered this challenge with videos that are informative, creative ... and very cool,” said Gov. Maggie Hassan, D-Exeter, in her announcement statement. “To continue being innovative and competitive, our manufacturers need to know that today’s students are prepared to succeed in tomorrow’s workforce. This contest helps our students better understand that there will be exciting career opportunities in manufacturing for them here in New Hampshire when they graduate in a few short years.”
