Londonderry Vehicle Crash, Fire Kills A Person On Hardy Road
A vehicle struck a tree on Hardy Road and caught fire trapping the driver. One person perished in the fire, an investigation is underway
LONDONDERRY, NH — Londonderry police, and fire responded to the area of Hovey Road and Hardy Road Friday for a reported car accident and vehicle fire.
First arriving units at 9:40 p.m. found a vehicle that had struck a tree and was fully engulfed in fire on Hardy Road just past the intersection. Londonderry fire crews extinguished the vehicle fire as well as trees and brush that had caught on fire.
It was quickly determined that one person perished in the fire and was still in the vehicle. Firefighters and police searched the woods near the crash for the potential of any other victims.

Hardy Road is closed while investigators investigate the incident.
Londonderry police and fire are at the scene, and the NH Fire Marshals Office has been notified as well as the medical examiner.
