Londonderry's 4th Of July Fireworks: 2019 Guide, Scheduled Time

LONDONDERRY, NH — July 4th is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you this Independence Day. We gathered up all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Londonderry so you can start planning now.

Here's what's in store this July 4th in the Londonderry area:

• What: Fourth of July Fireworks
• Where: Derry
• When: July 4 at dusk (approximately 9 p.m.)

Derry Parks and Recreation Department is organizing the Fourth of July fireworks. The best places to view the fireworks are Hood Commons, Crystal Avenue and Tsienneto Road.

• What: Fourth of July fireworks
• Where: Merrimack High School, 38 McElwain St.
• When: July 4, starting at approximately 9 p.m.
• Rain date: July 5

A fantastic fireworks display expected this year by Atlas PyroVision Productions, which is being contracted to put on this year's fireworks in Merrimack. Community members are encouraged to grab a blanket and find a nice spot to view the fireworks, which will be shot from behind the high school.

• Where: Salem High School ball field, 44 Geremonty Dr.
• When: July 4, 9:30 p.m.

Food, music, dancing and a fireworks display are in store for Salem's annual Fourth of July fireworks celebration. Activities and events are planned at Salem High School and Woodbury Middle School, with food concessions and music from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., patriotic music and national anthem from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., and fireworks at the high school from 9:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
