Manchester Police Investigating Shooting Of Man Near Draft Kings

MANCHESTER, NH — Manchester police are investigating a shooting in the area of Draft Kings on South Willow Street on Monday.

Police responded to a report of a person shot at 1279 South Willow Street at 9:15 p.m. When police arrived, they located a male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was located just north of Draft Kings. Manchester Fire and AMR ambulance rushed the victim to a local hospital with what police described as life-threatening injuries.

The investigation determined that multiple shots were fired by two males were in a confrontation. Police located a firearm and several spent shell casings in the area.

Manchester Fire and AMR were dispatched to Amherst Street between Maple and Dutton at 9:36 for a person who was reported to have stab wounds. The fire call log documents the call for a stabbing call but the Manchester police call log does not have any for calls for service for a stabbing.

The Manchester police call log mentions gunshots being heard in the area of Dartmouth Street at 9:53 p.m. but no ambulance was dispatched to that call.
