New Hampshire Robot Coding Competition Winners Announced
A handful of New Hampshire students were picked this week as winners of the nation's first Cyber Robotics Coding Competition.

LONDONDERRY, NH - A handful of New Hampshire students were picked this week as winners of the nation’s first Cyber Robotics Coding Competition which took place in Derry on Dec. 19 at Pinkerton Academy.
According to a release from the New Hampshire Department of Education, the virtual competition started eight weeks ago and included over 2,500 students.
The middle and high school used CoderZ, a cloud based coding platform to compete in over 80 different and challenging robotics missions. The grand prize, a trophy with a $2000 grant for the school was awarded to the Lyme School.

“ISCEF and the NH DOE are proud to have launched this new event in the great state of New Hampshire,” Said Frank Edelblut, commissioner of Education. “I can see the event is a success by seeing the number of students involved and the almost 200 students, teachers, parents and guests who were at the award ceremony.”

After a successful competition, organizers announced that the competition will continue in 2018.
