Laurie Warnock for the Northern New England Poison Center offers info about risks, increased usage in New Hampshire.

The University of New Hampshire’s Master of Public Health graduate program is sponsoring a free workshop called “Old Vices, New Devices: Nicotine and E-Cigarettes” at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at the UNH Manchester Campus in the Pandora Mill Building: 88 Commercial St.
E-cigarettes have sparked a debate in the Public Health community. Are they a smoking cessation tool or another route to nicotine addiction? ‘Vaping’ is the new smoking, but is it any safer or a just a marketing strategy targeting young adults?

This is a free lecture, open to the UNH Community and the public health community at large. To RSVP please visit our website: gradschool.unh.edu/manchester/php/gsmc_reg.php.
