Kick off the paddling season on April 30, 2017 with the 35th Run of the Charles: Boston's Premier Paddling Race. As CRWA's signature event, the Run of the Charles is the largest flat-bottomed boat race in New England and a major event in Greater Boston, where it draws an average of 1,500 racers and thousands more spectators each year!

The 35th Run of the Charles includes

• 24-Mile Corporate Relay
• 24-Mile Non-Corporate Relay - government, women, mixed and open classes
• 19-Mile Races
• 9-Mile Races
• 6-Mile Races
• Paddleboard divisions

We invite pro paddlers to join in the 19 mile race where we will start all pro paddlers in the first heat to give you the opportunity to train and compete with your peers.
