Teenager Killed In Londonderry After Vehicle Crashes Into A Tree
Jacob Naar, 17 years of age, of Londonderry, was killed after a car he was driving left Hardy Road, struck a tree, and bursting into flames.
LONDONDERRY, NH — Londonderry police, and fire responded to the area of Hovey Road and Hardy Road Friday for a reported car accident and vehicle fire.
First arriving units at 9:40 p.m. found a vehicle that had struck a tree and was fully engulfed in fire on Hardy Road just past the intersection. Londonderry fire crews extinguished the vehicle fire as well as trees and brush that had caught on fire.
It was quickly determined that one person perished in the fire and was still in the vehicle.

Capt. Patrick Cheetham of the Londonderry Police Department the lone occupant of the vehicle was Jacob Naar, 17 years of age, of Londonderry, NH.
Firefighters were originally concerned if there were other occupants and searched the woods near the crash for other potential victims. Confirmation was made that no one else was in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

Hardy Road was closed for several hours while the accident was investigated and the vehicle removed from the scene.
Londonderry police are handling the investigation.
