Woman From Lowell Accused Of DWI And Injuring Passenger In Crash
Norma Salvador of Lowell, MA is charged with DWI after a vehicle struck two houses and seriously injuring a passenger who is now in the ICU
MANCHESTER, NH — Two people were taken to the hospital, including one with serious injuries, following an accident early Saturday morning when police said a vehicle struck two houses.
Manchester Police, Fire and AMR responded to the area of South Mammoth Road and Moorseville Road for a single-vehicle accident with injury around 2 a.m. Saturday. On their arrival, they located a vehicle that struck two houses and the driver and passenger were still in the vehicle. Manchester Fire worked to extricate both occupants from the vehicle, police said.
Manchester Police Spokesperson Heather Hamel identified the driver as Norma Salvador, 26 of Lowell, MA. Hamel said the passenger was seriously injured in the crash and is currently in the ICU of a local hospital.

Through their investigation, Manchester Police charged Salvador with felony Driving While Intoxicated. Due to the severity of the passenger’s injuries, Salvador was also charged with Second Degree Assault, also a felony.
MPD investigators were on the scene Saturday morning documenting the incident. Tire tracks could be seen on the lawn just South of Morrisville Road, and damage to two houses South of the tire tracks. South Mammoth Road was closed between Morrisville and Bodwell for several hours as the incident was investigated.
