Workplace Benefit Solutions Raises $46K for NH Food Bank
The WBS Harvest Golf Classic has accumulatively raised more than $200,000 for charity.

Workplace Benefit Solutions recently held the 5th Annual Harvest Golf Classic, raising more than $46,000 to benefit the NH Food Bank. Since its inception in 2009, the WBS Harvest Golf Classic has raised more than $200,000 dollars for charity.
“I would like to thank everyone at WBS for their dedication to our mission, The Manchester Country Club for their hospitality, as well as all of the sponsors, donors, players, and many volunteers who make this event possible,” said Mel Gosselin, Executive Director of the NH Food Bank.
The golf tournament is the food bank’s largest fundraiser and brings together donors to the Food Bank and clients and customers of WBS for a day of scramble format golf, raffles and a silent auction. The tournament was a tremendous success and a great way to wrap up September’s Hunger Action Month 2014.

We’d like to thank our insurance carrier sponsors, clients, employees and volunteers for all their efforts, which has led to our best year ever - $46,000 raised to help feed NH’s hungry. With now over $200,000 raised since our involvement with this event, we look forward to our continued support of the NH Food Bank and the local communities we serve,” said Dave Larrivee, Founder and Principal Consultant of WBS.
The New Hampshire Food Bank serves as the only food bank in NH, supplying more than 8.5 million pounds of food to more than 400 partner agencies throughout the state in 2013. In addition, the food bank implements innovative programs designed to fight the root causes of hunger by empowering people to learn new skills, enabling them to become more self-sufficient and improve their quality of life. These programs include culinary job training, Cooking Matters, fresh rescue, production garden and mobile food pantries.
