Boston Woman Arrested on Domestic Assault Charges in Merrimack

Merrimack Police arrested a Boston woman over the weekend after she attacked a person and destroyed several items in a home.

MERRIMACK, N.H. - Merrimack Police arrested a Boston woman over the weekend after she attacked a person and destroyed several items in a home.

According to police, Amanday Kay, 25, of Boston, MA was charged with three counts of domestic assault and four counts of criminal mischief.

In a report, police said they responded to a Merrimack home for a domestic disturbance report. There, victims told police Kay had damaged several items in the house and assaulted a family member.

The victims reported that Kay threw a drinking glass causing it to break, smashed a mirror, and damaged a wall and a door in the residence. Kay also hit a family member in the head with a bowl and bit and scratched the victim.

Kay was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear before the Merrimack 9th Circuit Court on May 15 for her arraignment.
