Could Merrimack See Some Snow This Weekend?

ICYMI. The NH Attorney General filed its report on Thursday, closing the case surrounding the death of Joshua Savyon, 9, of Amherst, who was killed at the hands of his own father this summer in a shocking murder/suicide during a supervised visit at the Manchester YMCA. Read more about the ruling and the email Muni Savyon sent to his neighbors the morning of the shooting, which told them there was nothing anyone close to him could have done to change his course of action.
NH musician advances. Josh Logan, the Manchester-based lead singer of the Josh Logan Band, who plays all around Southern New Hampshire, has made it into the final 12 in the TV hit singing competition "The Voice." Nashua Patch reports that Logan was "saved" by Christina Aguilera, his coach on the show, after two others of his teammates received more votes for him, landing them spots in the top 12. - Saturday Night: A chance of rain showers before 3 a.m., then a slight chance of rain and snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 34.
- Sunday: A slight chance of rain and snow showers before 8am, then a slight chance of rain showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 52. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
- Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 32.

Honoring our Veterans. Don't forget, next Monday, Nov. 11, is Veterans' Day, a scheduled day off at Merrimack schools. Merrimack Town Offices, the Merrimack Public Library, U.S. Post offices and most banks will also be closed for the holiday. There will be a ceremony for Merrimack's local vets Monday at 11 a.m. to march from Town Hall to Last Rest Cemetery, to pay tribute to our veterans
