Girls Volleyball Aims for Championship Game Tonight

Morning news and notes for Merrimack.

Volleyball semifinal. Load up the car and hit the road for Pinkerton on Tuesday afternoon to cheer the Merrimack girls varsity volleyball team on to a semifinal win over Salem High School at 5 p.m. A win Tuesday puts the girls into the championship game at 7 p.m. on Nov. 9 against the winner of the Dover/Alvirne game to be played at Pinkerton immediately after the Merrimack/Salem game. Good luck ladies!

Grand re-opening. 
Darlene's [bath+body] Boutique will be officially opening its new store in Unit 6C of Pennichuck Square at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7 A grand re-opening celebration will be held from 6-9 p.m. and will include a lingerie fashion show, hors d'oeuvres, new products, goodie bags and complimentary wine. Share and like the boutique on Facebook and get a free gift.

YMCA Craft Fair. Craft fair season is grooving into full swing.  This Saturday, Nov. 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. is the YMCA craft fair at the Nashua Y. For sale will be: Jewelry, cards, photography, American Girl clothes, hair bows, charm bracelets, candles, baby Items, crochet gifts, and more. There will also be variety of direct sale vendors: Tastefully Simple, Pampered Chef, Avon, Mary Kay. There will be concessions featuring breakfast and lunch items along with a bake sale. Questions? Weather watch.
 It's a must-wear a jacket kind of day. Today will be chilly with mostly sunny, but a high of only 47. Tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low around 32.
