Holiday Parade, Tree Lighting to be Held Sunday
Annual holiday festivities were postponed due to rain last weekend.

The Town of Merrimack’s Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting has been re-scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 8, at 3 p.m. The parade route will begin at The Commons Shopping Plaza. Traveling south on Daniel Webster Highway it will finish at Abbie Griffin Park for the tree lighting ceremony. Families are encouraged to attend and help Santa count down to light the Christmas tree! After the tree lighting ceremony, Santa and Mrs. Claus will meet with the children to hear their wishes!
Merrimack Girl Scouts will be offer free cookies and refreshments during the tree lighting ceremony.
All citizens, pets, organizations and businesses are welcome to participate. The theme for this year’s parade is “Holidays Around the World."
Registration forms to participate in the parade are located on the town website, www.merrimacknh.gov, or by calling the Merrimack Parks and Recreation Office at (603) 882-1046.
