Hotel, Apartments Could Be Coming to Mall Entrance
Report: Upscale Merrimack development would be the first in town with lower-level retail, upper-level residential.

A Nashua company, after town approval, hopes to construct a new hotel, retail, and apartment complex near the entrance of the Merrimack Premium Outlets, according to a report in the New Hampshire Union Leader.
The Monahan Companies is in the process of acquiring 20-acres of land on the boulevard at the entrance of the mall from the mall’s LLC. The company had owned the land in the past but sold it before the mall was developed. Now, it’s ready to buy back the land and develop it, according to the report.
Plans include a 120-room hotel and conference center, a parking garage, and two apartment buildings offering 120-units with retail units on the first floor.
