Jogger Reports Man Wearing 'Jason' Hockey Mask with Hook in Hand

A woman jogging trails at Horse Hill Nature Preserve was alarmed to see a man wearing the hockey mask worn by "Jason" from horror movies.

Merrimack Police say a woman jogging trails at Horse Hill Nature Preserve reported a man wearing a "Jason" -style hockey mask and holding a hook in his hand.

The woman was alarmed at his appearance about a mile from the parking lot on Amherst Road on June 20, police said. Nothing was said, nor did the suspicious party accost the woman prior to her running back to her car and reporting the incident, according to police.

The man was described as wearing a black-and-white flannel shirt, black shorts and the hockey mask similar to one worn by "Jason," the killer in "Friday the 13th" and other horror movies.

The jogger told police she saw the man at around 5 p.m.

Police are also investigating reports of two vehicles in the same Amherst Road parking lot having their windows broken out during the lunch hour on June 23.
