A Little Rain Will Not Scare Away Halloween In Merrimack
Merrimack Police say that, barring a bout of severe weather such as lightning, trick-or-treating is on for 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday night.

MERRIMACK, NH —Rain predicted for Thursday night will not be enough to spook Merrimack's trick-or-treating tradition on Halloween night. Merrimack Police confirmed on Tuesday that, barring severe weather, the town's official Trick or Treat will go on as scheduled.
"We know some people have asked if the Chief is going to postpone Trick or Treat because of some inclement weather coming," Merrimack Police posted on their Facebook page. "We hope everyone knows that the safety of our town's children is of the upmost importance. However, unless we receive news that the weather is going to be more than rain, Trick or Treat will be Thursday night."
Trick-or-treating hours in Merrimack are 6 to 8 p.m.
