Malls In NH, MA, CT, ME Close Due To Blizzard

Simon Malls' facilities are closed for the day due to massive snowstorm hitting the northeast.

MERRIMACK, NH — If you were thinking about venturing out to do a bit of shopping today, think again. Simon Malls – which owns 15 facilities in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine, and Connecticut – has announced that all of its facilities have closed for the day. The closings came as local authorities issued winter storm warnings.

Closing earlier today were the Merrimack Premium Outlets – Merrimack, NH, Kittery Premium Outlets – Kittery, ME, The Shops at Chestnut Hill – Chestnut Hill, MA, and the Wrentham Village Premium Outlets – Wrentham, MA.

Malls that closed at noon on Jan. 4, 2018, included the Auburn Mall – Auburn, MA, the Burlington Mall – Burlington, MA, the Crystal Mall – Waterford, CT, the Emerald Square Mall – North Attleboro, MA, the Northshore Mall – Peabody, MA, the Pheasant Lane Mall – Nashua, NH, the Solomon Pond Mall – Marlborough, MA, the South Shore Plaza – Braintree, MA, the Square One Mall – Saugus, MA, the Mall at Rockingham Park – Salem, NH, and the Mall of New Hampshire – Manchester, NH.

Will these facilities be open tomorrow? That, is an unknown.

“More information will be posted on the centers’ social media channels with any updates, including tomorrow’s hours,” Elyse Phelan of Regan Communications Group noted in a press statement.
