Man Accused Of Vehicular Assault After Seriously Injuring Man

Danh Ho, 28 of Merrimack is accused of crashing a car on Naticook Rd and seriously injuring his passenger requiring extrication

MERRIMACK, NH - A Merrimack, NH man faces charges after an extensive investigation of an accident that occurred July 24, 2020, on Naticook Rd at 8:02 pm.

Merrimack police and fire responded to the area of Naticook Road and Lamson Drivefor the report of a serious motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival, they located a male passenger who had suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash and needed to be extricated from the vehicle. Once the victim was extricated, he was transported to St Joseph Hospital and later to Massachusetts General Hospital due to the seriousness of his injuries.

MPD Captain Kenneth Macleod said Police were able to identify the driver as the above Danh Ho, 28 of Merrimack, NH.

Officers determined that Ho’s vehicle, a 2008 Chevrolet Corvette, was traveling southeast on Naticook Road at a high rate of speed and lost control. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a large stone wall on Naticook Road.

Captain Macleod said, "After a thorough investigation by the Merrimack Police Department’s Accident Investigation Team, officers were able to apply for, and were granted an arrest warrant for Danh Ho.”

Police say that Danh Ho turned himself into Merrimack Police when a warrant was issued for Felony 2nd Degree Assault and Misdemeanor Vehicular Assault. He was released on Personal Recognizance and will appear in Hillsborough County Superior Court on a date to be determined.
