Man Charged in Domestic Dispute

Merrimack police arrested a local man on a charge of simple assault after responding to an apartment complex for a reported domestic dispute June 19.

Police said Derek Eskenas, 43, of Merrimack, was charged for allegedly hitting the victim at a residence during an argument.

Eskenas was released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail and he is scheduled to appear in court June 19 to answer to the charge.
