Man Charged with 'Unsworn Falsification' in Pistol Permit Request

Merrimack police have charged a local man with unsworn falsification for failing to disclose on a pistol permit application he had previously been denied a request.

Police said Shawn Pelletier, 25, of 2 Cavalier Country Lane, Merrimack was charged June 19 after he turned himself in on the misdemeanor-level offense.

He was released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court on June 26 to answer to the charge.
