Merrimack Crime Roundup: June 20 to June 27

MERRIMACK, NH — The Merrimack Police Department has reported several arrests in the past week. Domestic incidents, a police standoff and impaired driving. Arrests do not indicate guilt.

Sunday, June 23 — Alexis Nelson, 57, of Hartford, Connecticut, was charged with theft by unauthorized taking. Police say he stole several items from Polo Ralph Lauren at the Merrimack Premium Outlets.

Wednesday, June 26 — Wesley Golomb, 67, of Deerfield, was charged with animal cruelty. Police say he left a dog unattended in a vehicle at the Merrimack Premium Outlets. Although the windows were cracked open, the internal temperature of the vehicle was more than 106 degrees and the dog had no water in the vehicle, according to police.

Christopher Cantara, 38, of Merrimack, was charged with OUIL. Police say he was charged after exceeding the speed limit while riding a motorcycle and showing signs of impairment.

Thursday, June 27 — Mark H. Uhlman, 54, of Merrimack, was charged with two counts of criminal threatening and five counts of reckless conduct. Police say he threatened a household member with a rifle and engaged in a standoff on Baboosic Lake Road with Merrimack police and the Nashua SWAT team. Uhlman was arrested after police saw him exit the home through a back window. Police say evidence shows he shot a firearm five times at the home.
