Merrimack High School's Top 10 Student: Hope Bibeault
Hope Bibeault has placed as the 9th top student among Merrimack High School's graduating Class of 2019.

MERRIMACK, NH — Hope Bibeault has placed as the ninth top student in Merrrimack High School's graduating Class of 2019. After graduation, she plans to attend the University of New Hampshire to study nutrition. For a minor, she plans to study elementary education.
Bibeault said that over the past four years of high school, Bibeault played soccer and learned to never give up, even after a tough loss. She has learned to be supportive of her teammates, to appreciate the coaches and to work hard on what she wants to achieve. In her junior year of high school, Bibeault was a long-distance runner the track team. She said the running track taught her to persevere no matter how exhausted she became after running the first mile of a 3,600-meter race. What she learned in sports carried over to her achievements in school, said Bibeault.
While at Merrimack High School, Bibeault has been grateful to be part of the National Honor Society, Random Acts of Kindness, the Math National Honor Society and the Healthy Options Possible Everyday (HOPE) club.

"Being a part of these extracurricular activities made me realize the beneficial impact of volunteering, how easy it is to make someone smile by committing a kind act, the incredible feeling you receive when you help another student out, and the importance of nutrition on someone's overall well-being," said Bibeault. "I wouldn't have been able to accomplish any of my achievements if it weren't for my family, friends, and teachers who have pushed me to be the best version of myself that I could possibly be. Merrimack High School has helped shape me as a person, whether it was in extracurricular activities or the academic aspect."
