MERRIMACK, NH — Merrimack will be holding its Halloween trick-or-treating hours from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday. Merrimack Police advise that motorists should drive with extreme caution during the trick-or-treating times, especially in residential areas.

Merrimack postponed its Trick or Treat tradition from Thursday due to forecasts of heavy rain and strong winds.

"Although this was a very difficult decision we decided to change the day," Merrimack Police posted on their Facebook page on Wednesday. "(While) we understand this does not make everyone happy, we had to make the call to change it."
