Merrimack Man Arrested on Drunk Driving Charges

MERRIMACK, N.H. - A local man was arrested over the weekend for drunk driving on Baboosic Lake Road.

Police arrested Alexander MacLiver, 26, of Merrimack and charged him with OUIL and Open Container.

According to police, officers pulled MacLiver over on Baboosic Lake Road for an infraction and noticed signs of impairment when they spoke to him.

After a brief investigation, the driver, MacLiver, was arrested and charged with OUIL and Open Container.

MacLiver was transported to the Merrimack Police Department. He was processed and released on $1000 Personal Recognizance bail.

He is scheduled to appear on May 24 before the 9th Circuit Court – Merrimack to answer to the charge.
