Merrimack Man Arrested on DUI Charges in Hooksett

Hooksett Police on Sunday arrested a Merrimack man for DUI after stopping his vehicle for speeding.

MERRIMACK, N.H. - Hooksett Police on Sunday arrested a Merrimack man for DUI after stopping his vehicle for speeding.

According to Hooksett Police, an officer stopped a 2017 Chevrolet van, driven by Michael Reuter, 68, of Merrimack, N.H. on May 6 around 10:30 p.m.

Police said while the officer was speaking with Reuter, she observed signs of impairment.

Reuter agreed to field sobriety testing on scene and at the conclusion of the tests, was placed under arrest for DUI.

Reuter was bailed on $1,500 Personal Recognizance bail with an arraignment date of May 24 at the 6th Circuit Court Hooksett.
