Merrimack Man Charged With Burglary, Criminal Trespass

Police say he was caught breaking into washing machine coin boxes. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

A Merrimack man was arrested on a warrant over the weekend on burglary and criminal trespass charges stemming from an investigation into allegations that he was caught breaking the coin boxes on washing machines at a local apartment complex.

Robert Trepanier, 30, whose last known address was 540 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, was arrested on the warrant by Londonderry Police on Dec. 7. 

Merrimack Police say they were called an apartment complex on Nov. 24 by a tenant who caught a man breaking the coin boxes on the washing machines in the basement of the complex. When the tenant confronted the man, later identified as Trepanier, he flex through the back door.

Trepanier was turned over to Merrimack Police. He refused bail and was due in Merrimack district court on Dec. 9.
