Merrimack Y announces date of swimming pool grand re-opening

Family Pool Party and Ribbon Cutting Scheduled

Splish Splash We'll Be Having a Bash!

It’s with great excitement that we share the anticipated opening of our swimming pool at the Merrimack Branch to be on Friday, December 1.

Our aquatics staff is planning some sample classes and swim evaluations in early December, before our Term C begins on January 2. This will be a good way for parents to plan for enrollment for their children with our first full session after the pool reopening.

We wanted to remind everyone that registration for Session B’s Y member programming began this week and classes are filling up fast, especially as it pertains to swim lessons and water-related exercise programs. We urge all those desiring to enroll in swim lessons and other water-related exercise programming to sign up at the Nashua Y for Session B (November 6 – December 23) instruction.

Members! In addition to the great news about the Merrimack Y pool we wanted to alert you of an upcoming promotion. You can earn a free month of membership during our Novembership member promotion (November 1 through November 30). Bring a friend to the Y and earn a free month of membership when that friend joins the Y in November. There is no limit on the number of free months of membership you can earn. The more friends, the merrier!

Grand Opening Events! Our membership team is planning for two events to commemorate the opening of the pool: A Family Pool party on Friday, December 1 and a Grand Opening/Ribbon cutting on Saturday, December 2. Details and invitations will be forthcoming.

Thanks for sharing in our excitement as we make the Y more member friendly!
