Merrimack's 4th Of July Fireworks: 2019 Guide, Scheduled Time

MERRIMACK, NH — July 4th is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you this Independence Day. We gathered up all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Merrimack so you can start planning now.
Here's what's in store this July 4th in Merrimack:
- What: Patriotic Concert In the Park
- Where: Abbie Griffin Park, behind the Merrimack Town Hall at 6 Baboosic Lake Road
- When: July 3, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The day before Independence Day, kick off the festivities with patriotic tunes and marches, presented by Merrimack Concert Association. The association will be selling root beer floats.

- What: Sparkler 5K/Walk
- Where: Merrimack YMCA, 6 Henry Clay Ave.
- When: July 4 at 8 a.m. Kids' Fun Run starts at 7:40 a.m.
Join the annual event to support Merrimack High and Middle school track and cross country programs. Awards will be given to winners.
- What: Rotary Club Pancake Breakfast
- Where: Merrimack High School, 38 McElwain St.
- When: July 4, 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Start Independence Day with fluffy pancakes and more. Kids under the age of 3 eat for free. All proceeds go to the Rotary's charity programs and scholarships.

- What: Merrimack Fourth of July Entertainment
- Where: Merrimack High School, 38 McElwain St.
- When: July 4, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Join in the family fun throughout the day on the Fourth of July, as the Rotary presents magic shows, music, police dog and Fire Department demonstrations, and more. Presented by the Merrimack Rotary.
- What: Fourth of July Parade
- Where: Merrimack Commons to Merrimack High School
- When: July 4, starting at 1 p.m.
This 1.5-mile-long parade is one of the biggest in the state. It will feature marching bands, floats by local organizations and more. The parade will start at Tractor Supply in the Merrimack Commons and then proceed south on Daniel Webster Highway to the center of town, turning right onto Baboosic Lake Road and traveling past Mastricola Elementary School, taking a left onto O'Gara Drive and ending at Merrimack High School. The parade is being organized by Merrimack Parks and Recreation.

- Where: Merrimack High School, 38 McElwain St.
- When: July 4, starting at approximately 9 p.m.
- Rain date: July 5
A fantastic fireworks display expected this year by Atlas PyroVision Productions, which is being contracted to put on this year's fireworks. Community members are encouraged to grab a blanket and find a nice spot to view the fireworks, which will be shot from behind the high school.
