Motorcycle Crash Victim Flown to Hospital
The accident occurred in the area of 73 Bedford Road on June 7.
A motorcyclist thrown from his motorcycle in the area of 73 Bedford Road on June 7 was flown to Massachusetts General Hospital for treatment.
Merrimack Fire and Police departments responded to the scene around 4 p.m. for a report of a single male rider thrown from his motorcycle.
Merrimack Fire Department responders provided immediate aid on the scene, and set up a landing zone near the Reeds Ferry School, before the operator was flown to Mass General, according to Merrimack Fire Department.
His identification and condition were not immediately available.
Merrimack Police reported that the accident resulted in significant traffic back-ups and detours while personnel responded to the scene and police investigated.
