Nashua Men Arrested On Drunken Driving Charges In Merrimack
Plus: Man arrested on threat, assault charges; Manchester man, with an active drug case, arrested on drug charges again.
MERRIMACK, NH — Jack Drover, 25, of an unknown address, was arrested on June 14 on criminal threatening-domestic and simple assault-domestic charges. Police were sent to a local home around 8:30 a.m. for a disturbance in progress. When officers arrived, they investigated the incident and accused Drover of threatening and assaulting a family member. He was arrested, processed, and released. Drover is due in Merrimack District Court on June 22.
Jesse J. Harbeck, 33, of Central Street in Manchester was arrested on June 12 on felony possession of a narcotic drug and motor vehicle-possession of drugs charges. Around 6:30 a.m., police stopped a vehicle on Continental Boulevard for a violation. The driver, Harbeck, was checked and found to have an active warrant. Police also accused him of being in possession of a narcotic. He was arrested and released, and is due in Hillsborough County Superior Court South for arraignment on July 15. Harbeck, according to superior court records, failed to appear in court on June 2 after being indicted on felony heroin and methamphetamine possession charges as well as evidence, trespass, assault, and resisting charges out of Greenville from July 2020.
Nicholas Cormier, 32, of Sargent Avenue in Nashua was arrested on an operating under the influence-liquor charge on June 12. Around 12:30 a.m., police received a report of a man slumped over the wheel of a vehicle on the Daniel Webster Highway near Twin Bridge Road. Officers spoke to the driver, Cormier, in the parking lot of a business. Police accused him of driving into a parked vehicle and after field sobriety tests, he was arrested. Cormier is due in Merrimack County District Court on June 22.

John Mercer, 32, of Bowers Street in Nashua was arrested on June 2 on an operating under the influence-liquor charge. Around 1:15 p.m., an officer saw a vehicle on Industrial Drive that appeared to be involved in a crash — the vehicle was missing a tire and driving on its rim, according to a report. The driver, Mercer, was spoken to and the officer accused him of showing signs of impairment. After a field sobriety test, he was arrested, processed, and released. Mercer is due in court on June 22.
