Nighttime Roadwork Planned On Daniel Webster Highway In Merrimack

One-way alternating traffic will be in place on a portion of Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack as workers install a new water line.

MERRIMACK, NH — Nighttime drivers Tuesday night into Wednesday should expect some delays, as workers will be installing a new water line across Daniel Webster Highway. One-way alternating traffic is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, overnight into 5:30 a.m. Wednesday. Merrimack police and flaggers will be on site.

The work is being done as part of the East Chamberlain Road constriction project, to connect the new water line across Daniel Webster Highway to East Chamberlain Road. Water service in the area will be shut down at 9 p.m. Tuesday and will be back in service before 5:30 a.m., according to town officials. The affected residents have been notified by the Merrimack Village District, according to town officials.
