Person Trapped In Vehicle Rollover On D.W. Highway In Merrimack
A vehicle for unknown reasons left the roadway, striking a curb, trees, and rolling over with the driver trapped in the vehicle
MERRIMACK, NH - On October 14, 2020 at 4:30 pm Merrimack Fire Rescue and Police responded to a report of a rollover crash at D.W. Highway and Manchester Street.
When Fire and EMS arrived they found a person in trapped in the vehicle which was resting on its roof in the woodline.
Merrimack Fire Rescue using the Jaws of Life and hydraulic tools removed parts of the car to extricate the driver. The driver was transported by a Merrimack Fire ambulance to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

Merrimack Police blocked the right side of the Southbound lane of D.W. Highway while MFR was on the scene.
According to a witness at the scene the vehicle was traveling North on the D.W. Highway and cut in front of him, and appeared to no apply the brakes. The witness said the car involved struck the curb and rolled over. The witness said the driver appeared to be conscious, and speaking when he went to the car.

Merrimack Police are investigating the accident. Kinney Towing removed the vehicle from the scene.
