Plow Driver Accused Of Hitting Car, Injuring Woman In Merrimack

Esad Buco, a Manchester plow driver, is accused of causing a crash on Route 101A in Merrimack in December 2020.

When police arrived on the scene, witnesses stated a plow truck that was involved in the crash had left the scene of the accident and did not stop after the crash had occurred.

Merrimack Police Captain Ken Macleod said, upon further investigation, it was learned the plow truck involved was working with a pair of NH DOT plow trucks — and the truck in the accident was third in line. Witnesses observed that the involved plow truck had proceeded through a red light while crossing the intersection and was struck on the right side plow by a vehicle traveling westbound on Route 101A.

The car involved sustained heavy front end damage and the operator was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital.

Merrimack police were able to identify the registered owner of the plow truck, Gary Fitzgerald of Weare, who advised that he was contracted by the state Of New Hampshire DOT to provide snow plowing. After the investigating officer spoke with Fitzgerald, it was determined that Esad Buco, 50, of Dover Street in Manchester, was the operator of the plow truck that was involved in the crash.
