Police: Speed Believed To Be Factor In Merrimack Crash
Police believe that speed was a factor in Sunday's crash on Bedford Road in Merrimack that sent three people to the hospital.

MERRIMACK, NH — Police say that speed is believed to be a factor in Sunday's single-vehicle crash in Merrimack, in which three people were injured and transported to the hospital. The accident, reported around 6:09 p.m., involved a Chevrolet pickup truck that was occupied by three people when it crashed into a tree on Bedford Road, according to police.
The 28-year-old male driver from Manchester and a 37-year-old front seat passenger from Merrimack both had to be extricated from members of the Fire Department after the crash, and were seriously injured. They were both transported to Elliot Hospital in Manchester. A 30-year-old female passenger from Manchester, who was in the back seat, suffered minor injuries and was transported to Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, police say.
According to Merrimack police, the pickup truck was traveling west on Bedford Road when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The pickup truck exited the left side of the roadway and crashed into a tree, police say. According to police, speed appears to be a factor in the crash.
