Surveillance Video Helps Police Identify Accused Red Bull Thief

Merrimack Police arrested a local man on a charge of theft for allegedly stealing two 12-packs of Red Bull energy drinks from Shaw's Supermarket.

Police said Caleb Newton, 18, of 51 Cota Road, Merrimack, turned himself in June 20.

Officers responded to Shaw's on May 27 for a theft report. Upon reviewing the surveillance video, police said they identified the person as Newton.

Newton is scheduled to appear in Merrimack District Court on July 8 to answer to the charge.
