Weare Man Indicted In Merrimack Child Sexual Assault Case
Ronald Meltzer of Weare has been indicted in connection with a sexual assault incidents against a 6-year-old child in Merrimack.

NASHUA, NH — The Weare man charged with sexually assaulting a 6-year-old in Merrimack has been indicted by the Hillsborough County Superior Court grand jury. Ronald Meltzer, 37, of Weare, was indicted on felonious sexual assault, attempted felonious sexual assault and indecent exposure. According to the indictments, he is charged with exposing his genitalia to the child on three occasions between December and March.
Meltzer was arrested after Merrimack police received a complaint about the incidents on March 15. The police investigation involved several interviews with the victim and witnesses, police say. He turned himself in to police on April 18, after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
The grand jury indicted Meltzer on the three charges this month. All are Class B felonies, and each charge carries a maximum possible sentence of 3 1/2 to 7 years in prison if Meltzer is convicted.
