Congrats, Debra!
Debra Almeida of the Milford Middle School was recently honored with a 2019 Teacher of the Year nomination.

CONCORD, NH – The New Hampshire Department of Education recently held its formal nomination ceremony for 2019’s Teach of the Year in Concord earlier this month. Attending the event were NH DOE Commissioner Frank Edelblut, Deputy Commissioner Christine Brennan, Cindy Chagnon, of the state Board of Education, and Heidi Crumrine, last year’s Teacher of the Year. The purpose of the program is to select a teacher who is capable of speaking for and energizing the teaching profession and representing the positive contributions of all teachers statewide.
Selecting a Teacher of the Year is an exceptional way to celebrate the many outstanding and dedicated people teaching in New Hampshire schools.
