Great NH Restaurants To Milford Diner Employees: Come Work For Us

MILFORD, NH — The Red Arrow Diner in Milford recently permanently closed its doors, without much notice, a few weeks before the holidays. The popular diner, according to its website, is preparing to move to a larger location and all employees will be offered positions in available jobs in other diner locations or at the new location sometime next year. However, another restaurant chain is offering those former employees the opportunity to apply for work at its company now.

Great NH Restaurants, the owners of T-BONES, Cactus Jack's, CJ's Great West Grill, and the Copper Door Restaurant, posted notices on its Facebook sites Monday offering former Red Arrow Diner employees in Milford the chance to come work for them.

"We would like to extend to you not only an opportunity for an immediate position at any of our locations but we would also like to give you a $300 bonus to give you a jumpstart while you train," one of the posts stated. "This is for Milford past employees only and for all positions except bussers."

The company also noted that Red Arrow was aware that they were offering the employees the opportunity to work for Great NH Restaurants.

The response to the posts, according to Lorrie Determan of LTD Company, has been pretty overwhelming: Nearly 2,000 likes on both posts, more than 500 of shares, more than 250 comments, and tens of thousands of impressions. She added that there were potentially several openings in each of the company's locations for all positions.

Red Arrow Diner locations are still open in Concord, Londonderry, and Manchester. Some of its Milford employees will also be working at its sister location, J's Tavern, according to the company.

"We have cherished our time in Milford, appreciate the years of support and patronage, and look forward to revealing more information soon for big plans in 2020," the company stated online.

Great NH Restaurants operates Cooper Door locations in Bedford and Salem; T-BONES in Bedford, Derry, Hudson, Laconia, and Salem; CJ's in Manchester; and Cactus Jack's in Laconia. A new T-BONES location will be opening in Concord next year.
