Milford Rotary to Host Free Chicken BBQ for Senior Citizens
Wednesday May 1 at 12 Noon - Free for all area senior citizens. No reservations are required.

Club members of the Milford Rotary are gearing up for the 41st Annual Senior Citizen Chicken BBQ Luncheon on May 1 at the Boys and Girls Club of Souhegan Valley, located on Mont Vernon Street in Milford.
“This is one of our favorite events of the year! We all really enjoy the preparation, cooking and serving our senior citizens from all area towns. The opportunity to visit with each other and with our club members makes this a special day for everyone. And it is all with our compliments because of the support and donations of Frederick’s Pastries, House by the Side of the Road, entertainment from Milford High School, servers from Souhegan High School and our Interact members.” reports Paul Wydra, chairman of the event. “We are ready for a big turnout and hope our regular guests will bring their friends and neighbors to join us this year!”
The luncheon is held from noon to 1:30 and is completely free of charge to those attending. The Milford Rotary is grateful for the support from the students and assistance from local businesses including County Stores and The Happy Butcher, as well as year after year the generosity of the Boys and Girls Club for donating the gym for the event.
