One Dead And One Injured In Fitzwilliam Fire
An elderly male died and an elderly woman was hospitalized at a house fire in Fitzwilliam Sunday. A dog and four cats also died in the fire.
FITZWILLIAM, NH — Fitzwilliam firefighters responded to Royalston Road for a reported fire Sunday. On arrival, they had fire showing in a single family house. A second alarm was immediately requested.
According to New Hampshire State Fire Marshal Paul Parisi, one adult, an elderly man, was found deceased at the scene. An elderly woman was transported to Cheshire Medical Center. The injuries to the woman do not appear to be life-threatening, according to officials.
According to the fire marshal, one dog and four cats perished in the fire.
