Shakespeare Workshop

Wednesday April 13 at 6:30 pm Wadleigh Memorial Library 49 Nashua Street Milford, NH 03055

Many events are being planned throughout the state this month to celebrate 400 years of Shakespeare, who died in 1616. The book that saved many of William Shakespeare’s greatest plays from being forever lost will be on view April 9, 2016 to May 1, 2016 in the exhibition, First Folio! The Book that Gave Us Shakespeare at the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester. The exhibition brings one of the remaining copies of this important historic publication to the Currier as its exclusive New Hampshire and Boston-area venue.

To help us to celebrate the Bard, Amanda Pawlik, Director of Education for the Hampstead Stage Company, will teach us how to read lines and to portray scenes from some of Shakespeare's most popular and enduring plays.
