2 Charged with Selling Heroin, Cocaine

Nashua police have arrested two people on multiple charges of selling cocaine, heroin and Oxycodone. The arrests July 3 are part of the police department's continued efforts to combat drug dealing in the city.

Police said Yahaira Acevedo-Torres, 27, of 37 Crown St., Apt. 8, Nashua, and Luis Ruiz-Gonzalez, 22, with no fixed address, were arraigned on July 7.

Police said Acevedo-Torres, when being processed, was found with 59 individually wrapped packages of crack cocaine, 13 individually wrapped packages of heroin, seven individually wrapped packages of cocaine and an individually wrapped package containing 50 30-milligram Oxycodone Hydrochloride pills.

Acevedo-Torres was charged with four counts of possession of narcotic drug with the intent to distribute (crack cocaine, cocaine, heroin, and Oxycodone Hydrochloride). 

Ruiz-Gonzalez was charged with four counts of unlawful sale of narcotic drug,
cocaine, second offense, and one count of criminal liability for the conduct of another, the conduct being unlawful sale of a narcotic drug, cocaine, according to police.

All of the charges are Class A Felonies.

Acevedo-Torres and Ruiz-Gonzalez were making what appeared to be daily trips to the Nashua area to sell the drugs, according to police. 

Officers with the Nashua Police Department's Narcotics Intelligence Division believe all of the drugs in question would have been sold during the course of the day to people in Nashua. The narcotics had an estimated street value of $5,200.
